This piece was inspired by a woman who was diagnosed with a rare and incurable cancer. Instead of giving in to the disease, she overhauled her nutrition and turned to yoga. She slowed things down, listened to her body more and worked less. Now a life coach, she offers people information about the importance of eating well and advocates for nutritional supplementation and lifestyle changes as a way to prevent illness.
