As a single person, living alone, during this strange time of tremendous isolation, I have had to figure out just who exactly I want to allow into my bubble. For the most part, I have made good decisions about this. But one day, I actually needed some help, and the person I *thought* would be there for me, well… that person didn’t show up. I wanted to have a face-to-face conversation, but…well… it just didn’t happen. It’s hard to realize that not everyone cares about you as much as you might like them to. (You’d think I would’ve learned this lesson by now, right?)
