Day 51 of COVID19 quarantine. I was visiting my parents, and standing in front of a rather large picture window. In each pane I saw something else. I saw a bird, and a child, and the reflection of a vase of fresh flowers sitting on my mother’s dining room table. In all the craziness of the pandemic, I enjoyed my time with my parents and in the comfort of my childhood home where very little has changed over the years. As awful as it has been to be stuck inside for so much of the winter, I will always appreciate the time I got to share with my family.
