There’s a heap of hurt behind this one. Someone I cared a lot about — a *real* lot  about…well, it just wasn’t reciprocated. When I care about someone, I go all in — 100%. It’s taken me a long time to realize that not everyone behaves in this same way. In fact, some people only want to see you on their terms. For a while, I tolerated this, hoping that he would see things the way I did. I’m done with that now.
