Come Read My Fiction About the Whatchamacallit

I am a finalist in Pegoleg’s Peg-o-Clio Award. Seriously, I entered a short piece of fiction inspired by a picture that she posted, and I made it to the finals. I would love it if you would check out the entries and then VOTE FOR ME. Or just scroll right to the bottom and VOTE FOR ME on an act of faith. I seem to always bump up against Darla from She’s a Maineiac and K8edid, and those ladies are the bombiest! So check it out, and did I mention VOTE FOR ME! From every device in your house. Seriously. I’m going down and dirty with this one. 😉 Mainly because I’m getting killed.

  1. I never reblog, so this was a bit of an experiment. I don’t like it, and I will never do it again. That said, it would be wonderful if you would consider going over to Pegoleg’s blog. She has a fabulous thing over there. She is clever, and very prolific. I don’t know how she pumps out all this awesomeness every day, but she does. She does. Anyway, if you can find it in your heart to vote for my little entry, I’d appreciate it.

    1. You did? So nice. I voted for me, too. Like 16 times. Except I only have 10 votes. 😉

      1. i will go back and vote again

        1. Hahahahaha! 😉 I don’t know if it will let you.

  2. Done and done! Congrats and good luck 🙂

    1. Thanks! I’ll need it. 🙂

  3. Voted, again and again…

    1. Hahaha! Stuffing the ole ballot box, eh! I’m going after K8edid full throttle!

  4. The picture did remind me of a Lite-Brite, and the last entry was really funny. But yours was the most original/creative. So I voted for you. Because of the originality. Not because we’re related. 🙂

    1. Really? Because I thought k8edid’s was awesome, too. But thanks cuz.

      1. I did like K8edid’s, too. She was 2nd best! 🙂

        1. Thanks cuz. For your loyalty. And your vote. K8edid is worth following. Peg, too!

  5. ATTENTION! Renee I voted. Voted for you.

    1. Thanks mom. Seriously, I need all the votes I can get if I hope to dethrone K8edid. She is a force to be reckoned with.

  6. You’re not being killed anymore, my friend. You’re WINNING!

    Voted. And proud.

    1. If that is true, that is the miracle of Twitter. 🙂

  7. I voted! You’re doing great! Good luck!

    1. Julie just told me I am in the lead. I will not get cocky. K8edid is really good. But Twitter Tweeps and Facebook Friends rock! I love Cyberspace. Is that wrong?

  8. How come I can’t find a button to click in order to vote? I’d vote for you. If I lived in Chicago I’d vote for you several times. I’ll go look again.

    1. Oh, I see. I had to go to the original website to vote. Done.

      1. Thanks David! The power of #MyWana!

  9. Yay! I voted, and let’s just say it’s looking GOOD. 🙂

    1. The other folks have until 8/5. I don’t know if I can sustain that lead. But I’ll tell you, I’m grateful for your help in winning my invisible award. 🙂

  10. Voted, dahling 🙂

  11. Nay Nay, I’m not gonna lie, I totally voted for you.

I actually submitted an entry – as lame as it was – but after reading yours, had already decided I was going to vote for you. It was just too perfect.

And you know what, I think you’re on to something with the acting crazy thing if you’re in a bad situation. Crazy works for me A LOT!!

    1. Crazy is a powerful weapon. I’m excited to be following you. 😉
